Logan spent his teenage years working at a local sod farm. In a very short time, he learned everything there was to know about running the farm to delivering and installing sod. Before long, the sod farmer asked if he would contract install sod for him in Oklahoma and Arkansas. The result was that Logan started Covenant Sod his senior year in high school. He spent that year as a full time student and building Covenant Sod.
